About Us
Overview
Allied Arts represents and supports 20 local arts groups in the Oklahoma City area and serves as the advocate for the Central Oklahoma's arts and cultural community.
Founded in 1971 as Oklahoma's only United Arts Fund, Allied Arts champions the arts by:
- Mobilizing critical resources to foster the dynamic growth of the arts
- Providing technological, administrative and other capacity-building assistance to ensure a sustainable arts community
- Conducting marketing campaigns to create awareness of the economic, cultural and educational value of the arts
Each year, Allied Arts executes an annual fundraising campaign to raise critical money for the 20 organizations it supports. In its 39-year history, Allied Arts has raised more than $40 million to advance Central Oklahoma's arts and cultural community.
